[Editorial enhancement]
The note of sequence_type_flag semantics should be improved. Access units containing pictures that represent 1080i fields cannot have dimensions of 1920x540 because the minimum CU size is 8 in the current spec. The following text may be more appropriate:

"NOTE - The video coding layer of HEVC does not treat access units conveying pictures that represent fields or frames differently. A sequence of pictures that represent fields would therefore be coded with picture dimensions of a field. For example, access units containing pictures that represent 1080i fields would commonly have dimensions of 1920x544 when its minimum coding unit size is equal to 8, while the sequence picture rate would express the rate of the source fields (typically between 50 Hz and 60 Hz), instead of the source frame rate (typically between 25 and 30 Hz)."
