Opened 13 years ago Closed 13 years ago #582 closed task (fixed)Removal of now unused code related to old WPP FLUSH_ALIGN
Description
Since WPP has been mandated to use one row per substream, some code can be removed from the reference software. This code, related to the old and badly named OL_FLUSH_ALIGN define, was used to perform flush operations at line boundaries *within* a substream that spanned multiple LCU lines. This is no longer useful.
A patch showing the changes is attached (based on development release 2445), along with md5sums of class C & D sequences (all MAIN profiles) showing that reference, WPP and class-D-tile bitstreams are unchanged before and after the code modification.
