Description

The current WD text misses the description about the combination of SAO and pcm_sample_loop_filter_disable_flag.

“8.6.2.1.1 Modification process for luma and chroma samples” should be revised according to the attachment in order to synchronize the text and software.

Rather than attached solution, WD can be changed as follows:

8.6.2 Sample adaptive offset process

When aps_sample_adaptive_offset_flag is equal to 1, the following applies:

When aps_sample_adaptive_offset_flag is equal to 1 and pcm_loop_filter_disable_flag is equal to 0, the following applies:

Semantics of pcm_loop_filter_disable_flag should be modified also, and the inference when the syntax item is not present should be added since this syntax is conditionally present depends on pcm_enabled_flag.
