For ADI, always enabling smoothing while AIS is disabled (AIS : 0, DEFAULT_IS 1), the table g_aucIntraFilter[iIntraSizeIdx][uiDirMode] is used to determine wether reference samples are filtered once 1, twice 2 or not 0. For UDI with AIS : 0 and DEFAULT_IS 1, reference samples are always filtered once which performs worse than not filtering.

Integrating a similar table for smoothing in UDI would solve this issue.

For PU based merging, the encoder now compares the Merge and ME results using different measures for each result, causing bad RD-performance. The same measure should be used for both results.

RQT-root flag does not have to be coded in Direct mode with InterDir=3.
